CERAMIC CARE GUIDE

Each of G. Baltrukonyte's ceramics is handmade or hand-finished with love and care. The more you use your ceramics, the more they will become your own. With your own personal and unique character. To retain the quality of your piece and ensure longevity, please take good care of your ceramics.

  • Use a soft sponge and a mild detergent to hand wash your ceramics. It is important to wash gently with a soft sponge or cloth. Some of our products are dishwasher safe (please check your product description), however, hand washing is recommended for the longevity of your ceramics. Please air-dry them well before storing them in the cupboard.

  • Please read the product description on the product page if it is compatible with a dishwasher, microwave, or oven as usage and precautions may differ depending on the ceramic type. Also, this is very important to remember that sudden changes in temperature such as placing your item from the freezer to the oven are likely to cause thermal shock, which may result in cracks and breakages. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.

  • Sometimes the pottery could end up with some stains. It could be difficult to remove them even if you wash the pottery carefully with detergent. Here's what to do in such cases.

- For tea or coffee stains, add 1 tsp of baking soda onto a wet sponge and wash items gently.

- Always air dry items well before storing them away in the cupboard.

*We can not guarantee the longevity of our ceramics. We can only recommend you follow our care instructions. However, with proper care, these ceramics should last for a lifetime.
It is important to take good care of your ceramics so that they last generations and bring joy to you for many years to come!
